The extremely robust outer material is made of 1000D polypropylene, which is 50-100% stronger than coated polyester fabric, from which most horse blankets are made. Polypropylene is water-repellent, so rain beads on the outer shell and cannot be absorbed. What's ingenious is that beneath the outer shell is another waterproof barrier; the coating of this layer with Aquatrans makes it not only waterproof but also breathable. Even if the outer shell of the Rhino blanket is damaged, the second layer protects against moisture penetration.
The inner lining is made of anti-static polyester. It is soft and silky, making it comfortable to wear and giving a beautiful shine to the coat. Of course, the blanket is breathable. In the back area, the blanket has 250g insulation, while the side parts are filled with 100g insulation. Vari-Layer technology offers several different lengths of thermobonded fiberfill placed one on top of the other within the blanket, with a higher number of layers in the back area than on the sides. This means the blanket is lighter, as the filling is less thick than in the back area where most heat escapes. The blanket is easier to handle, and older horses, who often lose weight in winter, are less bothered by a heavy blanket. Horseware's unique patented leg arches give the horse greater freedom of movement and also allow the blanket to fit better around the belly so that it is also protected. The blanket has no back seam and features a long tail flap. Reflective strips on the front and tail flap ensure greater safety in the darker seasons. This Rhino blanket is equipped with metal loops, making it compatible with a neck cover and a liner. (not included.) At the chest, the blanket is secured with a double T-hook metal closure. Exchanges and Returns:
All items purchased through our website can be returned, including sale items, within 15 days of receiving your order. You are responsible for paying the shipping costs for any return, using the carrier of your choice; we do not provide shipping labels.
Returned items must meet the following conditions:
- The item must be in its original condition (not worn, soiled, washed, damaged, and without any stable odor);
- All tags must be attached to the item;
- A copy of the invoice must be in the return box;
- If you are returning a boot or a helmet, you must pack the original box so as not to damage it;
Upon receipt of your return, we will refund the purchase price of the item as well as applicable taxes, but not shipping costs.
Would you like to exchange an item instead? Please contact us before returning your package so we can ensure the availability of the desired item. For an exchange, you will still be responsible for the return costs of your initial order, but we will send your exchange free of charge.
You can also return the item in-store. In this case, you can exchange it for an item of equal or greater value only. If you desire a refund, our store will only act as a drop-off point, and the refund will be processed through the online store.
